[The year is 1200 A.K.]
The lands of the shin-obi world is shrouded in blood from the countless battles and wars that have gone on through shin-obi and clans. Shin-obi have fallen and they have killed legends have gone down about few shin-obi who were considered gods among-st men. These shin-obi was regular people that gained power most can only imagine. These shin-obi could either be feared or loved, hated or respected. Most shin-obi had a common goal. Becoming the strongest, through this goal all shin-obi aimed to be the strongest in order to bring peace or war among-st others.
[The Mother of All Shin-obi]
Princess Kaguya Ōtsutsuki is the matriarch of the Ōtsutsuki clan and mother of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and Hamura Ōtsutsuki, who had lived long before the founding of the hidden villages, during an era of endless wars between mankind. She consumed the fruit of the God Tree and became the first wielder of chakra, in addition to fusing with the God Tree and becoming the Ten-Tails. Through this act she made the shin-obi world exist and beginning of a world of chakra. A millennium ago, Kaguya, longing for peace, believed that it was necessary for her to attain god-like powers in order to put an end to all of humanity's conflicts. For that reason, she defied the taboo of consuming the fruit of the God Tree. Using her new-found power, Kaguya single-handedly ended the wars, and for her deed, she was worshiped as the Rabbit Goddess (卯の女神, Usagi no Megami), and had settled down amongst humans, as she would eventually get pregnant and bear twin sons, Hagoromo and Hamura. As time passed, however, Kaguya began to lose trust in humanity as the power she now held ultimately corrupted her. This eventually led her to madness as she created her ideal of peace by trapping her victims in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, which changed her public image from that of a benevolent goddess into that of a Demon (鬼, Oni).
At some point, Kaguya discovered that two Ōtsutsuki descendants from another world were planning on coming to Earth and stealing her chakra for themselves. In order to prevent this from happening, Kaguya converted the people trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi into White Zetsu soldiers, with the sole intent of combating these invaders should they ever make an appearance. Kaguya recorded all of the information regarding this threat into a highly encrypted scroll, which she left hidden in the palace of her ice dimension.
In a fit of envy that her own sons had inherited her chakra, Kaguya combined with the God Tree itself and turned against them in the form of the monstrous Ten-Tails. Their intense battle ended with Hagoromo and Hamura separating and absorbing their mother's powerful chakra while sealing her body to form the core of a celestial body that would become known as the moon. Hamura later departed along with the rest of the Ōtsutsuki clan to the moon to guard his mother's remains, while Hagoromo stayed in order to spread chakra to humanity and teach them the concept of Ninshū.
However, just before her sons could completely seal her, Kaguya manifested her will into the form of an artificial being called Black Zetsu. With the agenda of reviving its creator or "mother", Black Zetsu manipulated the Sage's son, Indra Ōtsutsuki, and his descendants: the Uchiha clan, along with Asura Ōtsutsuki's descendants: the Senju clan, all in an attempt to get one of them to awaken the Rinnegan. Madara Uchiha would eventually succeed in doing so, and Black Zetsu began secretly manipulating world events to have Kaguya revived.
[The Three Branches]
Ninjutsu (忍術, Literally meaning: Ninja Techniques) is one of the three main jutsu categories. Ninjutsu is the most nebulous of the three and may most simply be described as anything that is not genjutsu or taijutsu. Most ninjutsu require chakra and hand seals, but this is not always the case since the mere usage of weaponry qualifies as ninjutsu.
Ninjutsu is human's corrupted use of the Sage of the Six Paths' ninshū; rather than use chakra to achieve understanding and create peace as the Sage intended, humans weaponised their chakra for war. Most ninjutsu use shape transformation, nature transformation, or both: shape transformation deals with controlling the form and movement of the ninjutsu, while nature transformation deals with changing the ninjutsu's physical properties. Ninjutsu that use nature transformation tend to follow a naming convention of their nature type followed by a more specific name, "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique" for example. With practice and experience, certain ninjutsu can become second nature to a ninja, allowing them to perform it at will.
Genjutsu (幻術, Literally meaning: Illusionary Techniques) is one of the main jutsu categories. Like ninjutsu, genjutsu requires chakra and hand seals to be performed. Unlike ninjutsu, the effects of genjutsu are not real, being only illusions experienced by those who fall victim to it. According to the Second Mizukage, genjutsu falls under the broad category of Yin Release.
Taijutsu (体術, Literally meaning: Body Techniques) is a basic form of techniques and refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimisation of natural human abilities. Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. It typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. Taijutsu generally requires no hand seals to perform, occasionally making use of certain stances or poses, and are far quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put: hand-to-hand combat.
The Shin-obi world is a harsh one where death occurs nearly every day. Shin-obi see their family and friends die and it's considered common. For when you enter this world you're born with abilities that you'll end up using to kill or to protect. It's you who'll decide how you use them.
